Tour Plan:
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Welcome to Tanzania, the land of breathtaking natural beauty and diverse wildlife! Baest Royal Adventures is excited to welcome you on your first day of adventure in this amazing country.
Your journey will begin with a pick-up from the city center of Dar es Salaam, followed by a scenic drive south along the Tanzania/Zambia Highway towards Mikumi National Park. On the way, you will enjoy a delicious hot lunch, giving you a chance to take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
After lunch, get ready for an afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park, which covers over 3,230 square kilometers of beautiful wilderness. Mikumi National Park is known for its diverse wildlife population, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. You might even be lucky enough to spot some of the park’s tree-climbing lions, leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal, which are among its predators. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded in the park, including red-billed oxpecker, marabou stork, and lilac-breasted roller, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears open.
After an exciting afternoon of game viewing, you will be taken to your accommodation for the night. You will have the option of staying at the Vuma Hills Tented Camp, Tan Swiss Lodge, or TANAPA Bandas, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner (included in the tour price) and relax in the tranquil surroundings before turning in for the night.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park – Dar es Salaam
After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive through the Mikumi National Park, exploring the vast landscape and searching for wildlife. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, and several species of antelopes. Predators like tree-climbing lions, leopards, wild hunting dogs, and black-backed jackals also roam the park, making for an exciting wildlife experience.
You will have a picnic lunch during the game drive, allowing you to continue exploring the park and maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities.
In the afternoon, you will return to Dar es Salaam City, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible experiences in Mikumi National Park. (B,L)
