Tour Plan:
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
Baest Royal Adventures will pick you up from the city center of Dar es Salaam and take you on a journey to the stunning Selous Game Reserve, with a picnic lunch provided for the trip. Once you arrive, you’ll embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, giving you a chance to see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. You’ll spend the night at Rufiji River Camp or Zarafa Tented Camp, two top-rated accommodations that provide a comfortable and luxurious experience for guests. (L, D)
Day 2: Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve
Baest Royal Adventures will take you on a full-day exploration of the Selous Game Reserve by 4-wheel drive vehicle, allowing you to see some of the most incredible wildlife that Tanzania has to offer. As the largest game reserve in Africa, covering over 54,600 square kilometers, Selous is famous for its abundance of elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbucks, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus. You’ll have ample opportunities for great photographs, and you’ll be able to explore different sections of the park. You’ll spend the night back at Rufiji River Camp or Zarafa Tented Camp. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Walking Safari in Selous Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, you’ll have another day in the Selous Game Reserve. This time, you’ll start with an early morning walking safari, followed by a game drive with a picnic lunch. Walking safaris offer a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds, giving you a chance to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, and a wide variety of birds up close. With an armed ranger to guide you, you’ll be safe and secure as you explore the beauty of Tanzania’s wilderness. You’ll spend your final night at Rufiji River Camp or Zarafa Tented Camp. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Selous Game Reserve – Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, Baest Royal Adventures will take you back to Dar es Salaam with a picnic lunch, ending your adventure-filled safari experience.
