Led by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll embark on a traditional dhow sailing boat, and cruise to a sandbank where you can snorkel, swim, and sunbathe. You’ll also visit the picturesque Kwale Island, where you can take a guided tour and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch with refreshments. On the way back, you’ll stop at a traditional fishing village and experience the local way of life.

Detailed Itinerary.

09:00am

Meet your guide at the designated pier in Stone Town.

09:30am – 10:30am

Drive to Fumba village, located on the southern coast of Zanzibar.

10:30am – 12:30pm

Board the traditional dhow boat and sail to a sandbank in Menai Bay, where you can swim, snorkel, and sunbathe. Explore the vibrant coral reefs and marine life.

12:30pm – 01:30pm

Continue the boat trip to Kwale Island and take a guided tour of the picturesque island. Enjoy a seafood lunch with refreshments under the shade of the island’s trees.

01:30pm – 03:00pm

Relax on the island’s beach, take a swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters.

03:00pm – 04:30pm

Sail back to Fumba village, stopping at a traditional fishing village to learn about the local way of life and the traditional methods of fishing.

04:30pm – 05:00pm

Return to Fumba village and transfer back to your hotel.
