Meet your guide at the designated pier in Stone Town.
09:15am – 10:15am
Drive to the spice plantations, located in the countryside around Stone Town. Enjoy views of the rural landscape and learn about the history of the spice trade in Zanzibar.
10:15am – 11:15am
Take a guided tour of a working spice farm, where you’ll see firsthand how spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg are grown, harvested, and processed. Learn about the traditional methods used by local farmers and the modern techniques that are helping to sustain the industry.
11:15am – 12:15pm
Taste a variety of exotic fruits and spices, such as jackfruit, star fruit, lemongrass, and vanilla. Your guide will teach you how to identify each spice by smell and taste, and share tips on how to use them in your cooking.
12:15pm – 01:00pm
Enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch at the farm, featuring dishes made with fresh spices and ingredients. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available.

Return to your hotel or continue exploring Stone Town at your leisure.
