Meet your guide at the designated pier in Stone Town.
09:15am – 10:15am
Enjoy a scenic boat ride to Changuu Island, taking in views of the Indian Ocean and the coastline of Zanzibar.
10:15am – 11:15am
Explore the island’s historic prison ruins, which were built in the late 1800s but never used as a penitentiary. Learn about the island’s history and the role it played in the slave trade and the quarantine of infectious diseases.
11:15am – 12:15pm
Admire the giant Aldabra tortoises that roam freely on the island. These gentle creatures, which can live up to 150 years, were brought to the island from the Seychelles in the early 20th century.
12:15pm – 01:15pm
Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and coral reefs surrounding the island, which are home to a variety of tropical fish, sea turtles, and other marine life. Snorkeling gear will be provided, and your guide will ensure your safety and help you spot the best underwater sights.

Enjoy a delicious lunch on the island, featuring fresh seafood and local delicacies.
02:00pm
Return to Stone Town by boat, with the option to stop at a nearby sandbank for more snorkeling and swimming.
03:00pm
Arrive back in Stone Town and bid farewell to your guide.
