Meet your guide at the entrance of your hotel or resort in Stone Town
09:15am – 10:15am
Visit the Old Fort and learn about its history as a Portuguese military outpost and a slave market. See the cannons, barracks, and cultural events that now take place in the fort’s courtyard.
10:15am – 11:15am
Walk through the narrow alleyways of Stone Town and visit landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Dispensary, and the Anglican Cathedral. Learn about the unique blend of Swahili, Arabic, and European cultures that have influenced Zanzibar over the centuries.
